HexWartz is a Harry Potter-themed hackathon hosted at Sharda University Agra on 13–14 November 2026. Teams are sorted into four Houses, each representing a distinct problem statement, and compete to turn their ideas into working solutions. The event blends a themed, team-based format with a structured two-round competition — an online shortlisting round followed by an offline build-and-pitch finale.
Who Should Apply Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognised college or university. Inter-college and inter-specialisation teams are allowed, making it a good fit for students who want to collaborate across disciplines. Every participant must carry a valid college ID.
Tracks / Themes Each team chooses one House and builds a solution for that track:
Format & Timeline Round 1 is an online shortlisting PPT round: teams submit a presentation covering the problem, their solution, tech stack, and expected impact. The best teams from each House are shortlisted for the final round. Round 2 is the offline finale at Sharda University Agra, where shortlisted teams build a working prototype with mentor support, then demo and pitch to a panel of judges followed by a live Q&A. Judging criteria include innovation and originality, technical implementation and feasibility, real-world impact and scalability, and quality of the final pitch and demo.
Prizes A prize pool of ₹50,000 and more, with the detailed prize structure to be announced. All participants receive certificates and goodies. Final-round participants get accommodation and food. Promising startups from Sharda University Agra receive incubation support.
Eligibility Teams of 4–6 members; individual participation is not allowed. Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognised colleges and universities.
Registration Fee Round 1 is free. A fee of ₹250 per team member is payable only after a team is shortlisted.
