What it is F or F (Fund It or F*ck It) is a live pitch show built around an uncomfortable truth: almost every startup idea sounds bizarre at the beginning. Airbnb sounded like a bad idea. Facebook sounded like a bad idea. Paul Graham funded Airbnb while personally believing the idea was weak - and it is now worth more than most airlines. This event turns that fact into a game.
How the format works
The game inside the game Nobody in the room knows which ideas are jokes and which ones are simply early. The pitch that gets the biggest laugh might be the one people claim they booed in 2026. The worst idea of the afternoon wins the 'Idea of the Year' award along with a cash prize - a deliberate inversion of the usual demo-day logic.
Tone and ground rules Ideas get roasted, people never are. Pitches can be delivered in Hindi, English, or Marathi, making the show accessible to Pune's mixed-language startup and creative crowd. The stated goal is simple: come to laugh, and leave a little less sure you know what a bad idea actually is.
Want to pitch? There are ten slots available. Each pitcher gets three minutes and one idea that sounds ridiculous but that they secretly believe in. This is a low-stakes, high-signal way for early founders, tinkerers, and side-project builders to test how a live audience reacts to an unpolished concept before investing serious time or money.
Who it's for Early-stage founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, product builders, investors, angel backers, and anyone in Pune's startup and creative community who wants to see raw ideas stress-tested in public. It doubles as informal networking for the local founder ecosystem.
