Ignite - eDC's Startup Discovery & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Ignite is a hands-on startup and entrepreneurship bootcamp organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (eDC) of IIT Delhi. Designed for students, aspiring founders, and early-stage entrepreneurs, this one-day immersive experience helps participants learn, build, solve, and explore the startup ecosystem. The event is open to students from all colleges across India—you do not need to be an IIT Delhi student to participate.

What to Expect

The day kicks off with a series of interactive startup workshops covering the core building blocks of a venture:

• Market Sizing + MVP: Understand market opportunities, TAM/SAM/SOM, and how to think about building an effective minimum viable product.
• Problem Identification & Finding First Customers: Learn how to identify meaningful problems, validate them, and think about acquiring your first users.
• How to Pitch: Master the art of structuring and delivering a compelling startup pitch.

After the workshops, participants choose one of two tracks:

• Crossroads: For those without a startup idea. Work on real-world business problems presented by companies. Teams analyze the problem, develop potential solutions, and present their approach while receiving feedback from experienced business leaders. No prior entrepreneurial experience is required.
• Pitch Arena: For those with a startup idea or early-stage venture. Develop and communicate your idea through a focused pitching experience. Present your problem, solution, market opportunity, and overall approach to experienced founders and entrepreneurs. Selected participants may advance to an advanced pitching round.
