What it is The First Week of AGI Hang is a curated, demo-first meetup for builders who are already shipping real work with GPT-6 Astra, held in Jaipur. Rather than talks or slide decks, the session is built entirely around live demonstrations of what people have actually gotten Astra to finish in real software.
Format Ten selected builders each get 90 seconds on stage to make the room say "wait, it did that?" - followed by a breakdown of their setup, prompts, failures, and where human intervention was still required. The result is a fast, dense look at what frontier-model tooling looks like in practice rather than in theory.
What to expect
Who it's for This is explicitly for people actively building with GPT-6 Astra. The organisers state that beginners should not apply - this is not an introduction, workshop, or onboarding session. Attendees are expected to bring a laptop and a working version of their project. No pitches, no slide decks.
Registration and selection Registration is approval-based. Applicants submit a project, and the organisers review and select participants from those submissions. If a project is not selected, the registration fee is refunded in full. The organisers note that GrowthX does not profit from the session - the ticket fee covers the venue and snacks. A discounted member price is available for GrowthX members.
About the organiser GrowthX is an Indian community and learning platform for product, growth, and startup operators, running cohort-based programs and a regular calendar of city meetups across India. Its events typically favour small, vetted rooms over large open gatherings, and this session follows that pattern with a 20-person capacity and project-based approval.
Practical notes The event runs for roughly two hours in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Bring a laptop and a working build. Applications are reviewed on the strength of the submitted project, so the demo is effectively the entry ticket.
