The Bosch Innovation Challenge, in collaboration with iTNT Hub and Bosch Global Software Technologies, seeks to identify and support breakthrough ideas for building a "Foundational Security Strategy for IoT Products".
The challenge focuses on embedding security-by-design into IoT product development to help startups and MSMEs create secure, compliant, and resilient IoT solutions across the entire product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
The initiative encourages innovators to create a robust framework enabling security-by-design, compliance with regulatory standards, and scalable, resilient IoT ecosystems.
Problem Statement: Develop a foundational IoT security framework that empowers organizations to embed security-by-design into IoT product development, ensure compliance with global standards, and build trustworthy connected systems. This solution must support structured, scalable, and sustainable security implementation throughout the IoT lifecycle.

This is a grant-based innovation challenge, and the value sits in the support package around it rather than a flat cash sum. Selected teams get:
- Collaboration with Bosch on building a foundational IoT security framework.
- Access to mentorship, tools, resources, funding pathways, and incubation support facilitated by iTNT Hub and Bosch.
- A chance to pitch solutions to investors, corporate leaders, and ecosystem partners.
- Shortlisted ideas receive technical and business training, followed by onboarding and incubation for selected teams.
Incubation, mentorship, and support programs are optional and run under separate guidelines.

Early-stage & growth-stage startups, R&D Teams, Academic Researchers, and Innovators working on IoT security or related technologies such as Embedded Systems, Cybersecurity, Device Authentication, Data Privacy, and Cloud Security. Additionally, participants must be registered or based out of Tamil Nadu only.
