The TECHPIONEER Grant is a funding and incubation initiative led by IIT Madras Incubation Cell in collaboration with the School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, IIT Madras, and supported by HDFC Bank Parivartan under the Startup BuildUp initiative.
The program is designed to support growth-stage deep-tech startups building impactful solutions aligned with India’s priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Selected startups receive grant funding of up to ₹50 lakhs along with structured incubation support from IIT Madras Incubation Cell.
The initiative focuses on helping startups innovate, build, and scale by providing access to mentorship, incubation infrastructure, and ecosystem support, with no additional equity taken for the grant, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
