The Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) was founded in 2001 by the Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust (KKET) to provide academic options to young individuals. Located on a 26.5-acre campus near Coimbatore, the institute is approved by AICTE, affiliated with Anna University, and autonomous by UGC. CIET offers 11 undergraduate, 3 advanced postgraduate, and 1 management program, and also hosts the CIET-TBI (Technology Business Incubator).
