What the centre does

CIIE is run by students in coordination with faculty members. It incubates new ventures, builds awareness of entrepreneurship on campus and runs the university's entrepreneurial initiatives. Its stated mission is to foster innovative ideas that can become new business models, products or services.

Scale

The university says NU students have created 67 startups since inception, with a community of 116 young entrepreneurs. Its own counts differ across pages: one page says 21 of these startups were incubated inside the campus, and another says 19 startups are registered outside the university, 10 of them currently active.
