Technology Business Incubator KIET, known as TBI-KIET, is an incubator on the KIET Group of Institutions campus on the Ghaziabad-Meerut Road in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It runs as the Krishna Path Incubation Society under the Society Act 1860.

The incubator was established on 28th Feb 2007. It is jointly promoted by NSTEDB (TTI Division, DST), part of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of India, and by KIET Group of Institutions. Its website says it is supported by MeitY, MSME, MSJE, iDEX (DIO) and Start in UP.

How the incubator works

TBI-KIET takes first-generation entrepreneurs with technology-driven ideas. Its stated focus is ICT, Robotics and E-mobility. Its site describes a process from idea validation to market launch and scale-up. Ideas are judged on innovation, feasibility and potential impact. Shortlisted startups are invited for a pitch evaluation.

Incubation usually runs for 12 to 24 months, depending on the stage a startup is at and the progress it makes.

Who can apply

The site says students, alumni, researchers and entrepreneurs with innovative, technology-driven ideas can apply for incubation. It does not say whether non-campus founders are accepted on the same terms.

Facilities and support

The site lists co-working space and office infrastructure for incubated startups. It also describes access to labs and prototyping facilities in ICT, Robotics and E-mobility through the KIET campus. Mentoring is described as coming from industry, academia and experienced entrepreneurs, and the site mentions connections to investors and seed funding schemes.

Events

The site lists workshops and networking events. It also promotes The Growth Camp, a residential founder and investor event held from 17 – 19 April 2026. The application form for that event is run by a separate organiser, not by TBI-KIET.

The site gives no current count of startups incubated or companies in its portfolio. Its portfolio section shows none. Its home-page statistics show zero values, so they should not be relied on. The incubator says it was ranked 8th among TBI/STEP by the Economic Times in 2011.
