Akanksha: A Business Plan is the flagship business plan competition organised by Krishi Chanakya, the annual management festival of the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. The competition is designed to give aspiring entrepreneurs and management students a structured platform to transform their startup ideas into compelling, well-researched business plans and present them before a national audience of judges, mentors, and industry experts.
Who Should Apply
Open exclusively to students pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), or allied management courses from any recognised institution in India. Teams must consist of 2–3 members, all from the same institute.
Format & Timeline
The competition unfolds across three rounds:
Round 1 — Abstract Submission
Participants submit a one-page abstract covering the business overview, the problem being addressed, the proposed solution, competitive advantage, and financial projections. Format: PDF, Times New Roman, size 11, 1.0 line spacing, normal margins.
Round 2 — Executive Summary Submission
Shortlisted teams expand their idea into a full executive summary covering business model, sales and marketing strategy, intellectual property status, competitor analysis, management team, value proposition, customer and market analysis, financials, and funding requirements. Maximum 4 slides (excluding Intro and Thank You slides). Accepted formats: PPT or PDF.
Round 3 — Final Round
Top teams are invited to the MANAGE campus in Hyderabad to present their business plan live before a panel of judges.

Runner-Up: ₹17,500
National Finalist: Certificate of recognition
Eligibility
Open to students enrolled in MBA, PGDM, or allied management programmes. Teams of 2–3 members, all from the same institute. No restriction on the number of registrations from one institution. Each participant may submit only one entry.

MANAGE is a premier institution focused on agricultural extension and management education. Registration opens on 25th July 2026 and closes on 10th August 2026. Submit entries via the official Unstop platform. Only the team leader may make submissions. File naming format: Akanksha_TeamName_CollegeName.
