About this grant
The AMRUT-SRIF Business Incubation Scheme pays selected innovators and young entrepreneurs in Maharashtra ₹25,000 a month for 12 months, a total of ₹3,00,000. It is run jointly by the Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment and Training (AMRUT) and the SGBAU Research and Incubation Foundation (SRIF) at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
You also get SRIF incubation facilities, including co-working space, mentorship from industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs, and a network of investors, partners and peers.
You need an original business idea or technology, must live in Maharashtra, be aged 18 to 45 and have passed 12th standard (HSC). Total annual family income must be under ₹8 lakh. You must belong to the target categories under AMRUT's mandate, commit full-time to your venture, and not have received over ₹10 lakh for the same purpose from similar government schemes.
