About this subsidy
Clause 14.10(a) of the Industrial and Investment Policy of Assam, 2019 pays the employer a one-time incentive of Rs 10,000 for each local youth employed by the unit.
The incentive goes to the industry, not the employee, and is claimed once per local youth hired. For a labour-intensive plant hiring locally at scale, the incentive scales linearly with headcount — fifty local hires means fifty separate Rs 10,000 claims.

What You Get
