Quick Answer
Assam reimburses 30% of public issue expenses for MSMEs listing on BSE or NSE, up to Rs 5 lakh.
About this subsidy
Clause 14.6 of the Industrial and Investment Policy of Assam, 2019 encourages MSMEs to list on the BSE and NSE by subsidising 30% of the cost of public issue expenses, subject to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh.
Public issue costs — merchant banker, registrar, legal, listing and marketing fees — are a real barrier for a small company considering the SME board. This clause absorbs roughly a third of that bill for an Assam MSME that goes through with the listing.

What You Get
If your MSME goes public on the BSE or NSE SME platform, the state picks up 30% of the public issue expenses, capped at Rs 5 lakh. That covers a meaningful slice of the merchant banker, registrar, legal and listing costs that otherwise sit entirely on a first-time issuer. The benefit is tied to the listing actually happening, so it is claimed against issue expenses already incurred.
