Quick Answer
Women, differently abled, war widow, acid attack survivor and third gender entrepreneurs in Bihar get 92% of admitted VAT/CST/Entry Tax reimbursed.
About this subsidy
Clause 6.5.4 of the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Policy 2016 gives special-category entrepreneurs an enhanced tax refund on their new industrial unit. Entrepreneurs who are women, differently abled persons, war widows, acid attack survivors or third gender are entitled to 92% reimbursement of the admitted VAT, CST and Entry Tax they deposit with the State Government.
Tax arising purely from a trading business is excluded. The cumulative reimbursement is capped as a share of the approved project cost — 80.5% for non-priority sector units and 115% for priority sector units — so the value scales with the size of the project rather than a fixed rupee ceiling. Claims are filed under the policy's standard process through the Bihar single window.
