BuildBeyond is an open-ended online hackathon hosted on Devpost. Participants are free to build any project they choose, with no specific theme or track restrictions. The competition is beginner-friendly and supports low-code/no-code submissions, making it accessible to a wide range of skill levels.
Who Should Apply Anyone with an idea and the drive to build — students, early-stage founders, developers, designers, and hobbyists. Solo participants and teams are both welcome.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs from June 18, 2026 to August 16, 2026. Submissions are accepted throughout the period. Judging criteria and specific rules are available on the official Devpost page.
Prizes Total prize pool of $500 (approximately ₹46,000) awarded to the winning project.
Eligibility Open to all participants globally. No geographic restrictions. Beginner-friendly and low-code/no-code projects are accepted.

What You Get
The Best Overall Project wins $500 in cash, and additional winners are honored as Best First-Timer Project, Most Creative Project, Best Real-World Application, and Top 10 Finalists. Beyond the prize money, participants get mentorship from experienced professionals, the chance to showcase their work to a panel of industry judges, and the opportunity to earn recognition and Devpost achievements while building their portfolio. There are no theme restrictions, so the prize is open to web apps, mobile apps, games, AI projects, hardware prototypes, productivity tools, or any original build. Solo builders and teams of up to five members are both eligible.
