About this competition
Build With Bharat 2.0 is India's Premium National-Level Hackathon, organized by the CodeVerse Community in collaboration with NIT Delhi. The hackathon brings together talented developers, designers, innovators, and problem-solvers from across the country to build impactful technology solutions for real-world challenges.
Who Should Apply Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India, from all branches and specializations. Teams of 2–5 members are welcome, including inter-college and inter-specialization teams. Individual participation is also allowed.
Themes Participants can build solutions in domains including: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Web & Mobile Development, Blockchain & Web3, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Open Innovation, and Sustainability & Social Impact.
Format & Timeline The hackathon follows a multi-phase journey: Registration → Team Formation → Idea Submission (PPT format) → Shortlisting based on innovation, feasibility, and impact → Grand Finale at NIT Delhi (24-hour offline build) → Final Evaluation & Winner Announcement. The event takes place on 12–13 September 2026.
Judging Criteria Projects are evaluated on: Innovation & Creativity, Problem-Solving Approach, Technical Implementation, UI/UX & Design, Scalability & Impact, and Presentation & Demonstration.
Prizes Total prize pool of ₹1,00,000. All eligible participants receive participation certificates. Additional benefits include exclusive goodies & swags, networking with industry experts, mentorship throughout the event, and internship & career opportunities (subject to partner availability).
Eligibility Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. Teams of 2–5 members. Individual participation allowed. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are permitted.
How to Apply Register through the official Unstop portal before the deadline. After registration, teams submit their project idea in the prescribed PPT format. Shortlisted teams are invited to the offline finale at NIT Delhi.

What You Get
This is a prize-pool competition, not a grant or loan: the winning teams share a total prize pool of ₹1,00,000, with winners announced after the 24-hour Grand Finale at NIT Delhi on 12–13 September 2026. Beyond the cash prizes, every eligible participant receives a participation certificate, exclusive goodies and swags, networking with industry experts, mentorship throughout the event, and internship and career opportunities subject to partner availability.
