About this competition
Build With Bharat 3.0 is India's premier national-level hackathon, organized by CodeVerse in collaboration with Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. The hackathon brings together talented developers, designers, innovators, and problem-solvers from across the country to build impactful technology solutions for real-world challenges.
Who Should Apply Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. Students from all branches and specializations are eligible. Teams can have 2–5 members, and individual participation is also allowed. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are welcome.
Tracks / Themes Participants can build innovative solutions in domains including: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Web & Mobile Development, Blockchain & Web3, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Open Innovation, and Sustainability & Social Impact.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs for 24 hours offline on 21–22 September 2026 at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. The journey includes: Registration → Team Formation → Idea Submission (PPT format) → Shortlisting based on innovation, feasibility, technical approach, and impact → Grand Finale (24-hour build) → Final Evaluation & Winner Announcement. Judging criteria cover Innovation & Creativity, Problem-Solving Approach, Technical Implementation, UI/UX & Design, Scalability & Impact, and Presentation & Demonstration.
Prizes Total cash prize pool of ₹40,000. All eligible participants receive participation certificates. Winners also get exclusive goodies, swags, and mentorship opportunities.
Eligibility Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. Teams of 2–5 members. Individual participation allowed. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams permitted.
About the Organiser CodeVerse, in collaboration with Chitkara University (Himachal Pradesh), organizes this national-level hackathon. Chitkara University is a well-known private university in Himachal Pradesh with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship among students.

What You Get
Winning teams take home cash prizes from a total prize pool of ₹40,000. Beyond the prize money, winners receive exclusive goodies and swags, plus mentorship opportunities. Every eligible participant who completes the hackathon gets a participation certificate. This is a competition prize, not a grant or loan — there is no equity dilution and nothing to repay.
