The Careers of the Future Hackathon, organised by LIT School, is an experiential competition designed to help students explore future career paths by working on real-world challenges. The hackathon is built around the philosophy of Learn. Innovate. Transform., where students apply concepts, build projects, and receive feedback from industry professionals.
Who Should Apply
Open to students of Classes 10, 11, and 12, undergraduate students, and those who have passed Class 12 in 2026. The recommended age group is 17 to 21 years. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome, and no prior professional experience is required.
Tracks / Themes
Participants choose one career track from options including AI Filmmaker, AI SaaS Builder, Creatorpreneur, D2C Entrepreneur, Cloud Kitchen Entrepreneur, Creative Agency Owner, Quick Commerce Entrepreneur, and Impact Entrepreneur. Each track has a specific brief and submission format.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon begins with an online screening round (profile verification) followed by a submission phase where participants work on their chosen challenge. Shortlisted participants are invited to an offline round at LIT School, Bangalore, where they present their work live before mentors, judges, and industry representatives. Accommodation, travel (to and from the venue), and food for the offline round are arranged by the organisers.
Prizes
Total prize pool of ₹5,00,000 distributed across 10 events. Per-event prizes: Winner ₹30,000, First Runner-Up ₹15,000, Second Runner-Up ₹5,000. Additionally, winners get internship opportunities with leading organisations including Dabur, Ogilvy, Swish, Bhanzu, Vedantu, and Astrotalk.
Eligibility
Open to students currently enrolled in school, college, university, or any recognised learning program. Participants must be 17–21 years old (recommended). Individual participation only. Must bring own laptop/required devices.
How to Apply
Register before the deadline (July 2, 2026) via the Unstop link. After registration, expect a profile verification call from the LIT School team. Shortlisted candidates proceed on a rolling basis.
