Case-a-Blanca is a live business case competition organised by the Forum for Industrial Interaction (FII) at IIM Bangalore. It challenges participants to solve a real-world industry problem with innovative, practical, and scalable solutions. Combining analytical rigor with entrepreneurial thinking, the competition offers teams a platform to compete, collaborate, and present their ideas before eminent industry leaders and faculty.
Who Should Apply
Open to students and early-stage professionals across India. Teams of 2–4 members are welcome. Ideal for those with a knack for strategy, marketing, finance, operations, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Format & Timeline
The competition unfolds over three rounds:
Round 1: Online Quiz
Conducted on the Unstop platform. Tests participants on strategy, marketing, finance, operations, entrepreneurship, technology, and business awareness. 25 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. Teams are shortlisted based on accuracy and speed.
Round 2: Case Submission
Shortlisted teams receive a live business problem from an industry partner. Teams have 4–6 days to analyse the problem and prepare a solution. Submission is a presentation deck (maximum 3 content slides excluding title and appendix). Evaluated on problem understanding, quality of analysis, creativity, feasibility, and scalability. Top 6–8 teams advance to the finals.
Round 3: Grand Finale
Conducted offline at IIM Bangalore. Finalists present their solutions before a panel of industry leaders and faculty. Each team gets 10–12 minutes for presentation followed by a Q&A session. Winners are decided based on analytical rigor, practicality of recommendations, communication, and ability to defend their approach.
Prizes
Total cash prize pool of ₹35,000 distributed among the winner and runner-ups.

Open to all Indian students and professionals. Teams of 2–4 members.
