CaseX, a flagship competition of Scintillations’26 by the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, is designed to replicate the intensity and rigor of real-world consulting. It challenges participants to think like top-tier consultants—breaking down complex business problems and delivering structured, data-driven, and actionable solutions. Participants will tackle a startup-inspired problem statement, gaining hands-on exposure to real industry challenges while crafting innovative strategies that balance creativity with feasibility.
Who Should Apply
This competition is open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across Engineering, Management, Arts, Commerce, and Sciences streams. Teams must consist of 2 to 3 members. It's ideal for aspiring consultants, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers looking to apply their analytical skills to real-world business scenarios.
Format & Timeline
The competition features two rounds:
Round 1: Submission Round (Online)
Teams are required to submit a detailed presentation (PPT) and a comprehensive report (PDF). This round tests your ability to analyze, structure, and solve complex problems with clarity and depth.

Round 2: Final Round (Hybrid)
Qualifying teams will proceed to the final round. This round involves an 8-minute presentation followed by a 2-minute Q&A session. The final round will be held offline at the IIEST Shibpur campus, with online participation available if required.

Prizes
CaseX offers a total cash prize pool of ₹12,000.
