Citadel 1.0 – The Code of Karma is a 30-hour hybrid hackathon organised by the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The event challenges participants to build innovative tech solutions under time pressure, with mentorship and judging by industry experts.

What You Get
The top three teams receive cash prizes from the competition's USD 620 prize pool: USD 320 for the Chakravarti Samrat (first prize), USD 200 for the Samrat (second prize), and USD 100 for the Maharaja (third prize). Beyond prize money, shortlisted teams take part in a 30-hour offline finale at UEM Kolkata, where they build and deploy a working solution and present it through a project demonstration and pitch to judges. The event also offers mentorship and judging by industry experts. Participation is free, and the preliminary round is conducted online.
