Code Forge 2026 is an 8-hour software development hackathon organised by the Department of Science & Technology, G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur. Built around the theme Intelligent Systems, the event brings together innovators, developers, and problem-solvers to build impactful software solutions for real-world challenges. Participants collaborate with talented peers, transform ideas into working prototypes, and showcase creativity, technical expertise, and engineering skills.
Who Should Apply
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognised colleges and universities. Students from all technical disciplines are eligible. Participants must carry a valid college ID during the event.
Theme
Intelligent Systems — covering application areas such as Healthcare & Well-being, Smart Cities, Sustainability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Productivity.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs for 8 hours on the event day. Official problem statements are released one day before the hackathon. Teams may begin planning and development immediately after the release. Only solutions developed for the assigned problem statement will be considered for evaluation. Each team must submit a GitHub Repository, Working Prototype, Project Documentation (README), and Project Presentation (PPT/PDF). Participants are free to use any programming language, IDE, open-source frameworks, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.). There are no restrictions on the technology stack.
Prizes
Total cash prize pool of ₹25,000. Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all eligible participants.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognised colleges and universities. Teams of 2–4 members. Inter-college teams are allowed. Each participant may register in only one team. Registration fee: ₹400 per team (non-refundable).
