About
TechTack is a product management case competition organised as part of Ensemble Valhalla 2026, the flagship business festival of Xavier School of Management (XLRI). The competition challenges participants to showcase their product management skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and pitching techniques against some of the brightest minds in the field.
Who Should Apply The competition is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate program. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members, and all members must be from the same college and pursuing the same degree. A student cannot be part of more than one team, though multiple teams from the same college are allowed to enter.
Format & Timeline The competition runs across two rounds. Round 1 is a product management quiz — a 15-minute multiple-choice test covering product management concepts and technology understanding. Teams earn points for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect answers; in case of a tie, submission time decides the ranking. Round 2 is a case study round where teams develop an innovative solution to a given product management case. Teams submit a PowerPoint presentation of up to 5 slides along with supporting documents in PDF or Word format. The case is sent to the team leader's registered email. Final presentations take place live during Ensemble Valhalla 2026 in a virtual format, and final submissions must be made before the presentation. Presentations must follow the naming convention <EV2026>_<Team Name>.
Prizes Winners receive a cash prize of ₹50,000. Winning teams also receive certificates.
Eligibility Teams of 2–4 members. All members must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate program at the time of submission, must be from the same college, and must be pursuing the same degree.
About the Organiser Xavier School of Management (XLRI) is one of India's premier business schools, based in Jamshedpur. Ensemble Valhalla is XLRI's annual business and management festival, which hosts a range of case competitions, quizzes, and management events for students across the country.
