About this subsidy
MSMEs in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu can get a capital subsidy of up to ₹30 lakh or 25% of the capital cost, whichever is less. It covers facilities for effluent treatment, hazardous waste management and wastewater recycling, or units making alternatives to single-use plastics. This is a sub-scheme of the Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS), launched in 2015 and extended until May 19, 2027.
The unit must be new, or an existing one expanding or diversifying, and must have started commercial production between May 20, 2022 and May 19, 2027. It must be in the U.T. and must not be required by the Pollution Control Committee (PCC) to set up Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).
