EduSync: Connect the Web is a student hackathon organised by Paper Buddy, challenging participants to build a unified platform that bridges the communication gap between schools and homes. The goal is to enhance student learning, ensure physical safety, and support mental well-being through technology.
Who Should Apply
Open to students across India — any branch, any academic year. Beginners and experienced developers are equally welcome. Teams of 1 to 4 members.
Problem Statement
Create technology solutions that improve students' learning experiences, safety, mental well-being, and foster seamless collaboration between parents and schools. Key areas include:
- Academic Analytics: Tools to visualise and track student growth over time.
- Safety Systems: Secure gate-pass management and integrated transport tracking.
- Mental Wellness Support: Anonymous check-ins, AI-driven sentiment analysis, and real-time chat/notifications.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs from July 7 to July 24, 2026. Registration closes on July 20. Projects must be original and developed by the participating team. AI tools may be used as development assistants, but participants must be able to explain their implementation during evaluation.
Prizes
- 1st Prize: PPO consideration + certificate
- 2nd Prize: ₹30,000 + certificate
- 3rd Prize: ₹15,000 + certificate
Eligibility
Open to students across India. Individual or team participation (1–4 members). Students from any branch or academic year are eligible.
How to Apply
Registration is a two-step process: first on Unstop, then on the official PaperBuddy Hackathon Portal at https://paperbuddy.in/hacktheweb. Only participants who complete both steps will be eligible for submission, evaluation, certificates, cash prizes, and PPO consideration.
