Event Overview
This talk explores the intersection of computational astrophysics and artificial intelligence, focusing on how simulations of physical systems can inform the modeling of complex human behaviors. The session is ideal for developers, data scientists, AI researchers, and startup founders interested in advanced simulation techniques, world models, and the challenges of building AI systems in data-scarce domains.
What to Expect
About the Speaker
Mayukh holds a PhD in computational astrophysics from the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Göttingen, where he worked on simulations of magnetised plasma flows on stars. He was part of a NASA group that developed techniques to detect planets around other stars. He later worked at Deutsche Bank simulating financial markets, and is now focused on simulating human behavior at scale.
