The Nevermore Inquest is a story-driven forensic investigation competition hosted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV), Chennai. Inspired by the mysterious world of Wednesday and Nevermore Academy, this offline event challenges teams to investigate, question, and uncover a hidden truth within the Academy.

What to Expect:

A multi-round investigation format that is not a conventional quiz, CTF, or escape room.
Teams will observe, connect clues, test reasoning, and piece together evidence across three rounds.
Round 1 – The Investigation: Enter the mystery, follow the trail, and uncover the first pieces of the case.
Round 2 – The Evidence: Connect the pieces, question what seems obvious, and determine what deserves trust.
Final Round – The Hollow Court: Defend your conclusions as they are questioned and challenged.

Who It's For:

Students and young professionals interested in forensic science, critical thinking, and puzzle-solving.
Teams of 3–4 members who enjoy immersive, story-driven challenges.
Anyone with sharp observation, logical thinking, teamwork, memory, and evidence-based reasoning skills – no forensic expertise required.

Rules & Regulations:

Participants must follow announced team size, timings, and event instructions.
No tampering with, removing, damaging, or interfering with event materials.
Sharing answers, clues, or evidence with other teams is strictly prohibited.
Participants may access only designated event areas.
All venue safety rules and organizer instructions must be followed.
Cheating, sabotage, or misconduct may result in disqualification.
Registration fees are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.
The organizers' decision will be final in case of any dispute.
