What You Get
The scheme offers significant financial relief through rental/lease reimbursement for built-up office space. Eligible IT units can receive up to 50% of their Annual Lease Rentals for a period of 2 years. This incentive increases to 60% if 30% or more of the unit's employees are women. Additional incentives are tied to local employment: units with up to 30% Goan employees receive 50% incentive, 30% to 60% Goan employees get 75%, and over 60% Goan employees receive 100% of the calculated incentive. Employees must be on the company's rolls for a minimum of one year to qualify for these incentives. This rebate also applies if the space is leased from GIDC or any other Government Agency. Furthermore, units leasing land from GIDC/Government Agencies can claim reimbursement of the upfront lease premium paid, as well as annual lease rentals after one year of operation, for a period of 2 years. The maximum benefit for smaller business units is capped at ₹10,00,000, while Mega & Other Business Units have no such cap.
