Selection Process
Applications are subject to a pre-approval process. Once the online application and documents are submitted, they are reviewed by the concerned officer/office. If an application is approved, the beneficiary receives an approval order. There is an implied waiting list, where if an approved beneficiary fails to establish the goat unit within 90 days or becomes disabled, the approval may be transferred to the next eligible applicant on the waiting list. Department technical officers will also visit the unit to verify its operation and milk production records.
