Hack Synthesis 3.0 is a high-octane 30-hour hackathon organised by the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The event invites the brightest student innovators, designers, and developers from across India to collaborate, compete, and build impactful solutions.
Who Should Apply
Open to college students across India. Teams of 1 to 3 members. No registration fee.
Theme
Open Innovation – no specific problem statements. Participants are free to choose their own problem and build a solution.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon is held on-site at UEM Kolkata. Selected teams will build their projects during the 30-hour event. Judging criteria include problem clarity, solution quality, tech stack, architecture, unique features, and future scope. The decision of the judges is final.

Winner — ₹30,000
First Runner Up — ₹20,000
Second Runner Up — ₹10,000
Total cash prize pool: ₹60,000
