HackArena 2.0 – Bangalore Zonal Round is a key qualifying stage for the flagship hackathon of Ignite Room, organised by Polaris School of Technology. This in-person event brings together talented student developers, designers, and innovators from across the Bangalore region to build innovative solutions focused on AI.
Who Should Apply
This hackathon is designed for student developers, designers, and innovators from Bangalore and surrounding tech hubs. Participants must form teams of 2 to 4 members. A preliminary PPT submission round is required for all applicants to present their proposed idea, problem statement, and approach.
Tracks & Themes
Participants are challenged to develop prototypes and explore creative AI applications using either trae.ai or mozilla.ai. A specific problem statement for the mozilla.ai track will be provided by the organisers.
Format & Timeline
The Bangalore Zonal Round is an 8-hour in-person hackathon. Teams will work intensively to develop and present their solutions to a panel of judges and mentors. Evaluation will be based on innovation, technical implementation, feasibility, and overall impact. The top 10–12 performing teams from this zonal round will be selected to advance to the 24-hour HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale, scheduled for June 27th-28th in Delhi.
Prizes
Beyond the opportunity to advance to the Grand Finale, the Bangalore Zonal offers specific prizes:
- Shortlisting for Finale: Top 10-12 teams will be shortlisted for the Grand Finale in Delhi (June 27th-28th).
- Mozilla.ai Track Prize: A cash prize of ₹13,500 will be awarded to the top team building solutions using
mozilla.ai in the Bangalore Zonals.
- Grand Finale Cash Prize: The top 3 teams at the HackArena 2.0 Grand Finale will share a massive cash prize of ₹1,00,000.
Eligibility
Open to student teams of 2–4 members. All teams must complete the preliminary PPT submission round to qualify for the Bangalore zonal hackathon. Participants are strictly allowed to participate in only one zonal round across India. Any team or individual found to have registered or participated in multiple zonal rounds will face disqualification.

Registration for the Bangalore Zonal Round closes on May 15, 2026. Interested teams must complete the PPT submission round as part of the application process.
