Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs for 36 hours, starting on April 18, 2026, and concluding on April 19, 2026. An online-only orientation and team formation session will be held on April 17, 2026. The opening ceremony, hacking, and final presentations will take place on April 18th and 19th. Submissions are due by April 19, 2026, via DoraHacks and GitHub, requiring source code, brief documentation, and a 2-minute demo video. Judging criteria include innovation, impact, technical complexity, alignment with the chosen track, and presentation.
Prizes
The total prize pool for HACKOWASP 8.0 is ₹6,00,000+. In addition to cash prizes, participants will receive participation certificates and exclusive networking opportunities with industry mentors and partners.
Eligibility
