About this competition
Hac'KP 2026 is India's premier national cybersecurity hackathon, organised by the Kerala Police. This year's edition focuses on Agentic AI for Investigations, challenging participants to build innovative AI-driven solutions for law enforcement and investigative workflows.
Who Should Apply Open to cybersecurity enthusiasts, AI/ML developers, students, and professionals across India. Teams and individual participants are welcome.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs from June 1 to June 30, 2026. The exact format (online, offline, or hybrid) and judging criteria will be announced closer to the event. Registration closes on July 31, 2026.
Prizes Total prize pool of ₹10 Lakhs+ (₹10,00,000+), distributed across winning teams.

What You Get
Winning teams share a combined national cash bounty pool of ₹10 Lakhs+ in this multi-phase, competition-style build sprint. Beyond the prize money, selected winning teams receive a direct invitation to travel, demonstrate and pitch their finalized software architectures live on stage at c0c0n 2026, along with direct project-presentation pathways before Senior State Police Chiefs, national security leadership units, and intelligence directors looking to integrate deployable tools into live law enforcement infrastructure. The program itself runs as a structured pipeline — a national call for proposals, multi-city regional hackathon sprints, a mentor-guided product-development residency to refine prototypes into functional software builds, and a physical grand finale in Kochi aligned with the c0c0n 2026 summit.
