Pitch//break: The Survival Arena is a two-day competitive build-and-pitch event hosted by the University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) East Delhi Campus, in association with the university's Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC). It is designed for student builders, early-stage founders, and product-minded teams who want to test their ideas under realistic pressure rather than in a comfortable demo setting.
Format and concept
The event is structured as a points-based arena rather than a conventional hackathon. Teams build a solution, earn points through performance, spend those points strategically, and adapt to unexpected twists introduced by the organisers. Every decision - how you build, how you bid, how you pitch - carries a scoring consequence.
Day 1 (21 October)
Day 2 (22 October)
The team with the highest cumulative score wins.
Who should attend
Teams of 1 to 4 members - students, developers, designers, and aspiring founders - who can build quickly, adapt to changing briefs, pitch convincingly, and defend their work in a head-to-head format. Solo participants are welcome.
