About this competition
INCEPTIA is a national-level hackathon organised by Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering & Research (PCCOER) in 2026. Participants are challenged to build real-world tech prototypes over the competition period, with a total prize pool of ₹50,000.

What You Get
INCEPTIA's ₹50,000 cash prize pool is distributed to the top three teams — ₹25,000 for the winner, ₹15,000 for 1st runner-up and ₹10,000 for 2nd runner-up — with goodies for other top-performing teams. It's paid as prize money, not a loan or an equity stake. To win it, you first submit an online PPT/PDF pitch (judged on problem definition, tech architecture, feasibility and impact), then shortlisted teams travel to the PCCOE&R campus in Pune for a 24-hour offline sprint, building a working prototype from scratch and pitching it live to an expert panel of judges. Finalists should budget for a typical participation fee of ₹549 per person (covers food and on-campus accommodation). Beyond the cash, winners get visibility to the participating brands and sponsors who use the event to scout and recruit technical talent.
