India Runs by Redrob AI is a large-scale open national hackathon designed to bring together developers, students, and innovators from across India. Organised by Redrob AI, the competition runs over 42 days, giving participants ample time to build and submit their projects.
Who Should Apply Open to anyone in India — students, working professionals, and startup teams. Solo participants and teams are welcome.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs from May 1 to July 31, 2026. Participants can register and submit their projects anytime before the deadline. Judging and winner announcements follow the submission period.
Prizes The total prize pool is ₹50 Lakh+, with a top prize of ₹5,00,000. Additional prizes and recognition for runners-up may be announced.

Free to enter, with a ₹50 Lakh+ prize pool split across three independent tracks so you can compete in the lane that fits your skills. Track 1 – Data & AI Challenge (₹10 Lakh pool): ₹2,00,000 Grand Champion, five ₹1,00,000 Elite Builder prizes, 10 ₹30,000 Strong Performer awards, plus localized micro-grants for 50+ winners. Track 2 – Ideathon (₹30 Lakh pool, no coding required): ₹2,00,000 Champion, two ₹1,50,000 runner-ups, five ₹1,00,000 Merit winners, 15 ₹50,000 Emerging Innovator awards, selective venture cash for 30 ideas, and micro-allocations for 50+. Track 3 – Social Media Challenge (₹10 Lakh pool): five ₹1,00,000 Grand Winners, twenty ₹50,000 Star Creator awards, with engagement/community prizes split across 50–200 creators. Throughout the 42-day building window you get access to datasets, compute resources, and continuous engineering mentorship.
