InfoBlitz '26 is a 24-hour intercollege hackathon organised by the Department of B.Com Information Systems Management (ISM) and B.Com Computer Applications (CA) at Agurchand Manmull Jain College, Chennai. The event challenges student teams to build and present a working solution within a single day, fostering innovation, teamwork, and rapid prototyping skills.
Who Should Apply
Open to all college students across Chennai, from any branch or department. Teams of 2 to 4 members are encouraged to register. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students to test their problem-solving abilities in a competitive yet collaborative environment.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs for 24 hours, starting at 9:00 AM on August 24, 2026, and ending at 9:00 AM on August 25, 2026. Problem statements will be released at the start of the event. Teams must build their solution within the allotted time and present it to the judges on the morning of August 25. The event is held entirely offline on the AM Jain College campus in Chennai.
Prizes
Total cash prize pool of ₹32,000 distributed across four winning teams:
- Winner: ₹15,000
- First Runner Up: ₹8,000
- Second Runner Up: ₹5,000
- Third Runner-Up: ₹4,000
Winners receive printed certificates; all participants receive e-certificates.
Eligibility
Open to all college students across Chennai. Any branch or department can participate. Teams must consist of 2–4 members.
