InnoVenture 2026 – International Innovation & Technology Challenge is an international-level innovation hackathon organized by Amity University Uttar Pradesh. The competition aims to bring together talented undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse disciplines to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges.
Who Should Apply
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized colleges and universities worldwide. Students from all academic disciplines — both technical and non-technical — are encouraged to apply. Cross-disciplinary teams are particularly welcome.
Tracks / Themes
The overarching theme for 2026 is: Measuring ROI & Impact of Emerging Technologies: Driving Innovation Through Creativity, Conclusive Thinking, Collaboration for a Sustainable Planet. Participants may submit solutions in one or more of the following domains:
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Cybersecurity & Data Privacy
- Sustainability & Smart Green Solutions
- AR/VR & Next-Generation Technologies
- Automation, Robotics & Productivity
- Digital Transformation & Enterprise Solutions
Format & Timeline
The competition is structured in three rounds:
- Round 1 – Online Proposal Submission: Teams submit a PDF proposal (max 10 MB) covering problem statement, concept note, proposed solution, innovation highlights, rough sketch/wireframe, implementation roadmap, expected impact, and business/ROI considerations. Deadline: 25 September 2026.
- Round 2 – Hybrid Presentation: The top 10 shortlisted teams present their solution before a jury via a hybrid format — 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A. Date: 12 October 2026.
- Final Round – Grand Finale: The top 5 teams qualify for the Grand Finale at Amity University Uttar Pradesh. Each team demonstrates a prototype or proof of concept — 12 minutes presentation & demo + 8 minutes jury interaction. Date: 13 October 2026.
Judging criteria with weightages: Innovation & Creativity (25%), Technical Feasibility (20%), Sustainability & Social Impact (20%), ROI & Business Value Proposition (15%), Scalability & Implementation Roadmap (10%), Presentation & Team Collaboration (10%).
Prizes
- 1st Prize: ₹1,00,000 + Winner Trophy + Winner Certificate + Recognition from Amity University Uttar Pradesh + Feature on Official Website & Social Media + Networking with Industry Experts
- First Runner-Up: ₹75,000 + Runner-Up Trophy + Runner-Up Certificate + Recognition from Amity University Uttar Pradesh
- Second Runner-Up: ₹50,000 + Trophy + Certificate + Recognition from Amity University Uttar Pradesh
Total cash prize pool: ₹2,25,000.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized university worldwide. Teams of 2–4 members. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed. Each participant can be a member of only one team. Every team must nominate one Team Leader.
