About this competition
JCT SDG Hackathon 2026 is a 24-hour hackathon organised by JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event challenges student teams to build innovative solutions addressing real-world problems aligned with the UN SDGs.
Who Should Apply Open to students from any college or university, particularly those interested in sustainability, technology, and social impact. Teams can be formed on the spot or pre-registered.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs for 24 hours, from July 29 to July 30, 2026, at the JCT College campus in Coimbatore. Teams will ideate, build, and present their prototypes to a panel of judges. The event is in-person.
