Quick Answer
Jharkhand MSME Policy 2023 reimburses 50% of consultancy charges for an IGBC green rating on industrial buildings, up to INR 4 lakh.
About this subsidy
Clause 6.14 of the Jharkhand MSME Promotion Policy 2023 supports units that certify their factory buildings as green.
The policy gives a reimbursement of 50% of the expenditure incurred on consultancy charges for obtaining a green rating for industrial buildings from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), subject to a maximum financial assistance of INR 4 lakh.
Note what the subsidy covers: it is the consultancy cost of getting the rating, not the construction or retrofit spend needed to reach it. A unit planning a green-rated facility should budget the certification consultant separately, since that is the reimbursable line.

What You Get
Half of what you pay a consultant to take your industrial building through IGBC green rating comes back — 50% of the consultancy charges incurred, capped at INR 4 lakh of financial assistance. The reimbursement is tied to the consultancy expenditure for the rating itself rather than to the cost of the green construction measures.
