About this competition
Mission Y4 Prakasam Police Hackathon 2026 is a national-level online hackathon organized by Prakasam District Police in association with Techverza (Sraventix Technologies LLP). The hackathon invites students, innovators, developers, startups, researchers, and technology professionals to create innovative solutions for real-world public safety and policing challenges using Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Automation, and Emerging Technologies.
Who Should Apply Open to B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, B.Sc, and Diploma students, as well as IT professionals, startups, innovators, and technology enthusiasts. Team participation is mandatory with exactly 3 members per team.
Tracks / Themes The hackathon theme is "Secure Tomorrow with Next-Generation AI". Participants can choose from 13 challenge statements covering:

- Smart Vehicle Number Plate Verification System
- AI-Powered Crime Detection in Crowded Public Areas
- Criminal Investigation & Suspect Tracking
- Cybercrime Detection & Digital Fraud

Format & Timeline The hackathon is fully online. Key dates:
- Registration Deadline: 25 June 2026
- Project Submission Deadline: 28 June 2026
- Shortlisted Teams Announcement: 30 June 2026
- Grand Finale & Top 10 Presentations: 12 July 2026 (at SP Office, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh)
Submissions require a project presentation (PPT), a 2–3 minute demo video, and a public GitHub repository with complete source code and documentation.
