Aethronix 2026 is a national-level hackathon organized by MVSR Engineering College (MVSREC), Hyderabad, designed to unite creative minds, problem solvers, and tech enthusiasts from across India. This event provides a dynamic and competitive environment for students to showcase their technical skills, innovation, and teamwork by building impactful solutions for real-world challenges.

This hackathon is ideal for students and tech enthusiasts passionate about technology and innovation. Participants are encouraged to form teams of 2 to 4 members to collaborate and develop their solutions.
Tracks & Themes
Aethronix 2026 revolves around four cutting-edge and industry-relevant themes. Participants can choose any one theme based on their interest and expertise:
- AI & Data Science for Smart Solutions (AIDS): Focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to extract insights, build predictive models, and enable intelligent decision-making systems. Domains include healthcare analytics, agriculture optimization, financial forecasting, and smart city solutions.
- Cybersecurity – Next-Gen Cyber Defense & Digital Trust: Challenge participants to build secure and resilient systems to counter the rapid rise in digital threats. Solutions may include threat detection, data protection, privacy enhancement, and mechanisms to strengthen trust in digital platforms.
- Web Development – Scalable & Intelligent Web Experiences: Emphasize building modern, high-performance web applications that are scalable and user-centric. Participants are encouraged to integrate intelligent features, real-time functionalities, and advanced UI/UX.
- Web3 – Decentralized & Trustless Digital Ecosystems: Focus on building decentralized applications (dApps) using blockchain and Web3 technologies. Explore areas such as smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, decentralized identity, and secure peer-to-peer systems.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon will be conducted in a single continuous offline phase. Participants will select a problem statement from a curated list provided by the organizers and work on building functional prototypes within the given timeframe. At the end of the event, teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges comprising industry experts and academicians. Evaluation will be based on innovation, technical execution, problem relevance, scalability, user experience, and presentation quality.
Prizes
A total prize pool worth ₹60,000 will be awarded to the winning teams. Additionally, internships will be provided to the best performers, offering valuable real-world experience and career opportunities.
Eligibility
Participants must register in teams of 2 to 4 members. All submissions must be original and developed entirely during the hackathon. Guidance and resources will be provided to help teams refine their ideas and implementations.

To participate, complete your payment and registration on Unstop first. Following this, fill out the Private Luma Form to receive an Approval & QR Code, which will be sent to your registered email after manual payment verification. Approvals are processed daily from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The registration deadline is April 16, 2026.
