About this competition

Nexora is a national-level 24-hour hybrid hackathon organized by HackHere, bringing together students, developers, designers, cybersecurity enthusiasts, blockchain innovators, AI builders, and technology enthusiasts to solve real-world challenges through innovation.

Hosted at SNS iHUB, Coimbatore, Nexora provides a platform for participants to collaborate, compete, learn from industry experts, and build impactful solutions that create meaningful real-world impact.

Who Should Apply Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized institution. Teams of 1–4 members. Inter-college and inter-department teams are allowed.

Tracks / Themes

Track 1: Cyber Security — Design and develop innovative solutions that strengthen digital security, enhance privacy, detect cyber threats, improve resilience, and secure modern systems.
Track 2: MedTech — Build technology-driven healthcare solutions that improve patient care, diagnostics, medical accessibility, hospital management, digital health, and healthcare innovation.

Participants are encouraged to leverage one or more of the following technologies: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Blockchain.

Format & Timeline The hackathon runs for 24 hours on 22–23 August. Problem statements will be revealed only at the beginning of the hackathon. Participants will build a working prototype within the time limit. Industry mentors will guide teams throughout the event, and an expert jury will evaluate the final solutions based on innovation and creativity, technical implementation, practical impact, scalability, and final presentation and demonstration.

Eligibility Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized institution. Team size: 1–4 members. Inter-college and inter-department teams are allowed. Registration fee: ₹1,000 per team.

About the Organiser HackHere is a community-driven organisation that hosts hackathons and innovation challenges for students across India. They partner with industry sponsors and academic institutions to create hands-on learning experiences.

Amount: Up to ₹30,000

What You Get

Winning teams take home a ₹30,000 cash prize plus multiple internship opportunities and a Pre-Placement Opportunity (PPO) with partner companies. Winners also get $50 in AI credits for production AI inference. Beyond the cash, every participant receives blockchain certification courses, a blockchain bootcamp with mentoring sessions, $25 in AI credits for interactive chat with unlimited tokens, AI credit rewards with access to 40+ AI models, and goodies and swags. During the 24-hour build, industry mentors guide teams and an expert jury evaluates final prototypes — so the event itself doubles as direct access to practitioners and potential employers.
