About this competition
NexWave presents ViralWave, a comprehensive two-round technical competition organized by Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. This online event is designed to challenge and enhance participants' technical knowledge, logical reasoning, and practical coding skills, providing a competitive platform for learning and showcasing expertise.
Who Should Apply This competition is open to all students and technology enthusiasts with a basic knowledge of programming. Participation is strictly individual, making it an ideal opportunity for solo competitors to test their abilities.
Competition Structure ViralWave consists of two distinct rounds:
- Quizify – The Ultimate Tech Quiz: The initial round focuses on evaluating participants' understanding of technical concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through a challenging quiz format.
- Codify – Ultimate Coding Challenge: Qualified participants from Quizify advance to this final round. Codify is a time-bound coding competition where individuals solve real-world, DSA-based programming problems. Problems range from easy to medium difficulty, and participants must submit working, efficient code within a 1-hour limit. Evaluation is based on the number of problems solved, code correctness, and time taken (as a tiebreaker).
Prizes and Perks Top-performing participants will be rewarded with cash prizes, and all participants will receive certificates. The total cash prize pool is ₹22,500.
Eligibility Open to all students and technology enthusiasts. Individual participation is mandatory, and a basic understanding of programming concepts is recommended.
