About this competition
HiDevs × Mastra Hackathon is a flagship AI agent-building hackathon designed exclusively for TypeScript developers. This is not a hackathon for slide decks, mockups, or AI wrappers — every submission must be a working agent.
Who Should Apply Open to TypeScript developers, students, and early-stage builders who want to build production-ready AI agents. Teams of 1–2 members.
Tracks / Themes Participants can choose from six high-impact challenges:
- AI Hiring Copilot: Build an end-to-end recruitment agent.
- Personal Finance & Debt Advisory Agent: Create a financial advisor.
- Legal Document Intelligence Agent: Develop a legal analysis system.
- Student Doubt-Solving & Learning Agent: Build a personalized AI tutor.
- Incident Response & Post-Mortem Agent: Design an engineering copilot.
- Open Innovation Challenge: Build your own original AI agent.
Format & Timeline
- 13 June – 19 June 2026: Registrations open.
- 20 June 2026: Round 1 begins (online) — participants design solution architecture using HiDevs Architecture Copilot.
- 2 July 2026: Round 1 results — top 300 advance.
- 4 July – 11 July 2026: Build Sprint (remote) — teams build their agent.
- 12 July 2026: Grand Finale (offline) — 12-hour hackathon at OJone, Bengaluru. Final presentations to judges.
