Prasunethon 2.0 is a national-level hackathon organised by Prasunet, inviting students, developers, innovators, designers, and technology enthusiasts from across India to build innovative solutions for real-world challenges. The hackathon spans multiple technology domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Web Development, Mobile Applications, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, IoT, Blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
Who Should Apply
Open to college students, freshers, and professionals from all academic disciplines. Individual participation or teams of up to 3 members are allowed. Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged, and participants must have access to a laptop and internet connection.
Themes
Participants can choose from a wide range of themes: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Healthcare Technology, Education Technology, Smart Cities, FinTech, Agriculture & Rural Development, Sustainability & Climate Tech, Cybersecurity, Social Impact & Accessibility, and Open Innovation.
Format & Timeline
The competition is conducted entirely online and structured in three stages. Round 1 is an idea submission where participants submit the problem statement, proposed solution, technology stack, expected impact, and project roadmap. Round 2 involves prototype development, where teams build a working prototype, submit source code and documentation, and prepare a presentation or demo video demonstrating feasibility and scalability. The Grand Finale features finalist teams presenting their solutions before an evaluation panel of industry experts, researchers, and technology professionals.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects are judged on Innovation & Creativity (25%), Technical Implementation (25%), Problem-Solving Approach (20%), User Experience & Design (15%), and Scalability & Impact (15%).
Prizes
The total prize pool is ₹1,05,000, distributed as: 1st place ₹50,000, 2nd place ₹25,000, 3rd place ₹15,000, 4th place ₹10,000, and 5th place ₹5,000. In addition, winners receive certificates, internship opportunities with Prasunethon 2.0, networking with industry experts, project showcase opportunities, and recognition on official platforms.
