About Capital Investment Incentive

New units and units undertaking a substantial expansion are eligible. The policy sets two investment bands, each with its own cap on the subsidy.

What you get

  • A share of the cost of plant and machinery for manufacturing units.
  • A share of the cost of the building or shed and other durable physical assets for service units.
  • A top-up for units in the priority sectors, within the cap for the band.

Who can apply

  • New units and units doing a substantial expansion.
  • Investment must fall inside one of the two bands in the policy.

How selection works: The District Industries Centre and the Directorate of Industries verify the claim, then the State Level Committee gives final approval. The guidelines say incentives cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

How to apply: Register the unit under the 2025 policy at the District Industries Centre first. Claim at the District Industries Centre in the prescribed format, with the supporting documents and bank proof. Each incentive is claimed separately, and all payments must be by bank transfer.
