About this subsidy
Clause 7.9 of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Investment Policy, 2025 pays back half of what an enterprise spends using a recognised Common Facility Centre — research centres, testing labs for R&D, packaging facilities and the like — subject to a maximum of Rs 1 lakh per unit per year for up to three years.
It is open to new and all existing industrial units irrespective of substantial expansion, and to registered cooperatives and FPOs in the handicraft, handloom, agro and food processing, and aromatic/medicinal plant sectors. The point of the clause is to let a small unit use shared testing and processing infrastructure it could not afford to own.

Registered cooperatives and FPOs in handicraft, handloom, agro and food processing and aromatic/medicinal plant sectors are covered alongside industrial units, so a small producer group can access testing and packaging infrastructure at half price.
