About this subsidy
Clause 7.5.1 of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Investment Policy, 2025 pays back half of what an industrial unit spends on installing green, environmentally friendly technology based on renewable energy — solar, wind, water, biomass, hybrid solar-wind or any other green source — of 10KW to 2000KW capacity, subject to a maximum of Rs 25 lakh.
Both new units and existing units qualify, irrespective of substantial expansion; existing units are covered specifically for replacing DG sets. The claim covers purchase and installation cost together, and is settled as a reimbursement after the system is commissioned.
