About this subsidy
Clause 12.8 A(5) of Punjab's Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 reimburses the full guarantee fee charged to micro and small enterprises under the central CGTMSE scheme. The refund is capped at INR 2 lakh per year and runs for five years from the date of commercial production. CGTMSE lets a small unit borrow without collateral in exchange for that annual fee; this clause removes the fee's cost, so collateral-free credit becomes materially cheaper.
